SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) is an area of the Single Euro Payment Area, which in practice means that for the SEPA area members there are the same rules for payments in EUR, which means the same deadlines for transfers.
With SEPA all the money transfers to almost all banks in the European Union as well as Liechtenstein, Monaco, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and San Marino can be faster and cheaper in EUR currency. Transfers in SEPA system include a D + 1, which means posting of payments to the recipientÔÇÖs account by the end of next working day. In terms of cost SEPA transfer it is much cheaper than SWIFT. For most Polish banks cost of SEPA transfer is 5 z┼é. Payment must necessarily be commissioned in EUR, because other currencies are not eligible for SEPA.
